We are looking for an Embedded Machine Learning (ML) Intern who will be responsible for developing and testing machine learning models and algorithms for embedded systems. This position will involve designing and implementing ML systems for real-time embedded applications and optimizing models for improved performance. The successful candidate will have excellent programming skills, a strong understanding of ML algorithms, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and test machine learning models and algorithms for embedded systems.
- Research and identify new ML algorithms and methods.
- Design and implement effective data visualizations to support data analysis and insights.
- Work with software engineers and hardware designers to integrate ML systems into embedded systems.
- Write technical reports and documentation for project activities/deliverables.
- Perform other related tasks as assigned.
Skills & Abilities
- Knowledge of ML algorithms and techniques
- Possess programming skills and scripting experience (C or C , Python)
- Experience with developing and testing embedded C/C application on MCU platforms.
- Familiarity with transducers like Hall sensors, accelerometers etc.
- Familiarity with micro-controller IDE design/development tools
- Understanding of IOT technology (would be a plus)
- Familiarity with Git or SVN (would be a plus)
- Ability to follow circuit schematics and PCB layout drawings.
- Experience with standard lab equipment such as oscilloscopes, and logic analyzers to use for validating and debugging firmware.
- Required:
- Enrolled in college.
- Pursuing an Electrical or Computer Science related degree
- Preferred:
- Senior standing
- Intermediate: Excel, Word, Visio
