Position Summary
We provide our utility clients with a wide range of energy-saving and renewable energy solutions. From individual utility customers and construction contractors, to utilities, municipalities, and government bodies, our clients have come to depend on our customized energy efficiency programs to help them to meet their energy saving goals.
The Field Manger is primarily responsible for overseeing and managing all field personnel who install energy efficient equipment and products in support of all the programs. This includes all Field Technicians, Field Specialists, Project / Scheduling Coordinators, and Field Supervisors for the Direct Installation programs. You will also be working with others who are passionate about energy efficiency and making a positive impact on the industry.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities

- Oversee multiple crews of Field Technicians and Field Specialists to ensure the proper installation of energy efficiency equipment
- Maintain a high level of knowledge regarding air sealing and direct installation
- Manage quality control for all installations performed by field staff
- Coach Field staff to improve services and train them on new technologies and techniques
- Be responsible for inventory control of DI and Air Sealing product, individual tools, team tools, and crew vehicles
- Daily travel to pre-scheduled jobs
- Work with program and corporate staff to create effective and new marketing strategies
- Be a member of several working groups that will coordinate programs with other organizations working in the program
- Oversee and approve the processing of energy efficiency project paperwork through program tracking systems
- Prepare monthly and weekly activity reports to include projects completed, energy savings attained, issues, future projects, and inventory statuses
- Lead presentations promoting energy efficiency programs for targeted groups of customers or trade allies
- Create and manage budgets associated with the Direct Installation and Weatherization programs
- Ensure the safety and monitor the use of proper safety procedures for all Field Staff
- Conduct performance reviews of all Field Staff including Field Technicians, Field Specialists, Project / Scheduling Coordinators, and Field Supervisors
- Provide a professional appearance appropriate for a representative of Franklin Energy and the Utility
