What are the responsibilities and job description for the Front Desk Receptionist position at Franklin First Federal Credit Union?
Franklin First Federal Credit Union is currently looking for a full-time receptionist to provided friendly, professional, accurate, and personal service to all members and potential members. An ideal candidate will be adaptive, collaborative, service-oriented, and provide the highest level of service and responsiveness to the members served by Franklin First.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Act as receptionist by acknowledging members when they enter the lobby and provide them with assistance to address their inquiries or direct them to the appropriate department for further assistance.
- Answer incoming phone calls, answer questions and process basic transactions per the members request; transferring calls to appropriate departments as needed.
- Track inventory of office supplies, reporting needed items to COO as necessary.
- Sort, record, and deliver mail to the appropriate staff daily.
- Act as a substitute Teller as needed.
- Assisting the Member Service department as needed with a variety of tasks including account openings, account maintenance etc.
Job Requirements:
- Ability to use a multi-line phone system confidently and effectively.
- Understanding (willingness to learn) all Franklin First’s products and services; including but not limited to loans and deposit products.
- Basic math and computer skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft for Windows Applications.
- Required to complete Teller Training
- Effective oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills with the ability to apply common sense to carry out instructions, understand procedures, write correspondence, and speak clearly to members and coworkers.

Qualifications:
- High School diploma or GED
- Minimum 12 months of Customer Service
Schedule:
- Monday - Friday: 8:30am - 5:15pm
- Saturday (alternating): 8:45am -12:00pm
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.00 per hour
