End User Support Engineer (Contract) – VMware & Windows
Onsite - Austin, TX
3-month Contract ( potential FTE)
Are you an experienced support engineer with expertise in VMware and Windows environments?
Our legal clients is looking for a skilled contractor to join a dynamic IT team, working on high-impact infrastructure projects.
Responsibilities
- Manage and optimize VMware virtualization environments, ensuring high availability and performance.
- Administer Windows Server environments, including Active Directory, Group Policy, and security configurations.
- Work on storage solutions, ensuring efficient provisioning and troubleshooting.
- Utilize PowerShell for automation, scripting, and system administration tasks.
- Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure issues to maintain system integrity.
Requirements
- Proven experience in VMware administration (vSphere, ESXi, vCenter).
- Strong expertise in Windows Server environments (2016, 2019, 2022).
- Knowledge of storage technologies (SAN, NAS, RAID).
- Hands-on experience with Active Directory and related services.
- Proficiency in PowerShell scripting for automation.
- Ability to troubleshoot and optimize enterprise IT infrastructure.
- Experience in the legal industry is a bonus.
