What are the responsibilities and job description for the Interoperability Analyst position at Franklin Fitch?
As an Epic Analyst II, you will be responsible for system builds, maintenance, and enhancements related to Epic Care Link and Care Everywhere, while supporting external providers, clinical integrated networks, and affiliated organizations. You will also contribute to the rollout and ongoing development of innovative tools that are is set to be deployed across 53 practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Configure and maintain Epic Care Link and Care Everywhere applications.
- Ensure compliance with data-sharing safeguards and best practices.
- Collaborate with community physicians, clinical integrated networks, and external partners to enhance patient data accessibility.
- Provide support for user account creation, workflow development, and system maintenance.
- Troubleshoot and resolve break-fix issues related to Epic systems.
- Stay up to date with Epic upgrades and emerging interoperability solutions.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Epic Care Link and Care Everywhere certifications (REQUIRED).
- Experience with Epic ambulatory and inpatient modules is a plus.
- Understanding of EMR data flow, interoperability, and integration with other healthcare systems.
- Familiarity with FHIR and HL7 (nice to have but not required).
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of projects.
