Summary:
A leading organization is seeking a skilled Senior Network Engineer to join its dynamic infrastructure team, focusing on WAN, LAN, and campus wired/wireless networks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and troubleshoot complex networks (routers, multilayer switches, firewalls, wireless controllers).
- Monitor and maintain high network availability across multi-platform environments.
- Identify cost-effective solutions that meet strict security and uptime standards.
- Diagnose and resolve network outages, including issues with hardware, software, and capacity.
- Research and apply patches or hardware updates to address network deficiencies.
- Own and resolve incidents through root cause analysis and remediation.
- Maintain detailed documentation for network changes and procedures.
- Serve as a subject matter expert with vendors and internal teams; configure network tools and document best practices.
- Mentor junior staff and provide hands-on guidance.
Qualifications:
- 9 years of experience in network design and/or operations
- Strong knowledge of LAN, WAN, Wireless LAN, Cisco ASA, and Cisco Unified Communications.
- Preferred experience with Cisco IOS/IOS-XE, Aruba wireless controllers, and ClearPass Policy Manager.
- Proficiency in OSPF, BGP, and MPLS.
- Familiarity with DNS, DHCP, VRF, SolarWinds Orion, Infoblox, NetBrain.
- Understanding of RADIUS, TACACS, and Privileged Identity Management.
- Preferred basic scripting ability with Python or Ansible.
Salary : $120,000 - $140,000
