As a Project Manager, you will oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of complex IT projects that span network infrastructure, system management, and security. Key Responsibilities:
- Project Planning & Execution: Lead the full project lifecycle for network, systems, and security-related projects, focusing on the unique needs and compliance requirements of the legal and financial services sectors.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with stakeholders, including IT teams, business leaders, legal and financial service professionals, and third-party vendors, to define project requirements, goals, and deliverables.
- Risk Management: Identify and manage risks associated with project timelines, resources, regulatory compliance, and security, ensuring that all projects are delivered on time and within scope.
- Cross-Functional Team Leadership: Coordinate and manage diverse teams of network engineers, system administrators, and security experts, ensuring effective communication and collaboration to meet project objectives.
- Budget & Resource Management: Oversee project budgets and resource allocation, ensuring that resources are used efficiently and projects are delivered within budget.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure that all network, systems, and security components meet high-quality standards, are compliant with industry-specific regulations (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA, PCI-DSS), and align with best security practices.
- Project Documentation: Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation, including project plans, schedules, risk assessments, compliance reports, and technical specifications, to ensure accountability and compliance.
- Security & Compliance: Work closely with security teams to ensure that all technology projects meet stringent legal and financial services security regulations and internal security policies.
- Continuous Improvement: Analyze completed projects to identify areas for improvement, optimizing processes and workflows for future initiatives.
- Reporting & Communication: Provide regular progress reports and updates to senior management and key stakeholders, ensuring transparency and timely communication on project milestones and potential risks.
Qualifications:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Project Manager who has the following qualifications and experience:
- Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Experience: 5-7 years of project management experience, with a strong background in managing network infrastructure, systems administration, and security projects specifically within the legal or financial services sectors.
- Technical Expertise: In-depth knowledge of networking technologies (e.g., routers, switches, firewalls, VPNs), systems administration (e.g., Windows, Linux, cloud environments), and cybersecurity best practices.
- Industry Experience: Prior experience working in or with legal or financial services firms is essential, including familiarity with relevant industry regulations such as GDPR, HIPAA, PCI-DSS, and financial compliance standards.
- Project Management Skills: Strong knowledge of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall) with the ability to lead multiple projects simultaneously.
- Certifications: Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is highly desirable. Additional certifications related to networking (e.g., CCNA, CCNP), systems (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator), or security (e.g., CISSP, CompTIA Security ) are a plus.
