As a Senior Engineer at a leading law firm, you will play a vital role in supporting and enhancing our key enterprise applications. You will primarily focus on managing and optimizing iManage, Office 365, SCCM, Azure, and Intune to ensure that our teams have the tools they need to work efficiently and securely. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement new solutions, troubleshoot technical issues, and provide support for application-related tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
- iManage Management: Administer, maintain, and troubleshoot iManage document management systems, ensuring seamless integration with other applications and smooth operation across the firm.
- Office 365 Administration: Oversee the deployment, configuration, and maintenance of Office 365 applications, including Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, and Outlook, to ensure optimal performance and user adoption.
- SCCM Support: Manage and optimize Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM) for software deployment, patch management, system monitoring, and endpoint security.
- Azure & Intune Administration: Administer and support Azure Active Directory, Azure Cloud services, and Microsoft Intune to ensure effective device management, security, and identity management across the firm.
- Technical Support: Provide second and third-level technical support for applications, resolving complex issues and ensuring high levels of user satisfaction.
- Collaboration with IT Teams: Work closely with other IT staff to ensure proper integration of applications, system upgrades, and maintenance activities.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvement and work to implement more efficient ways to support and enhance applications.
- Training and Documentation: Create training materials and provide training sessions for users to ensure they can effectively use the applications. Document configurations, processes, and troubleshooting procedures for internal reference.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as an Applications Engineer, Systems Administrator, or similar role, ideally in a law firm or professional services environment.
- Strong hands-on experience with iManage document management systems.
- In-depth knowledge and experience with Office 365, including Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, and OneDrive for Business.
- Strong experience with Microsoft SCCM for software deployment, patch management, and system monitoring.
- Expertise in Azure Active Directory, Azure Cloud services, and Microsoft Intune for device management, security, and identity management.
- Familiarity with other enterprise applications and their integration into a law firm environment is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex application issues.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to explain technical issues to non-technical users.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., iManage certification, Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals, Microsoft Certified: Security, Compliance, and Identity Fundamentals, or similar) are a plus.
This role will be mostly remote, although applicants most be commutable into the Manhattan area for monthly team meetings.
Salary : $160,000 - $180,000
