Key responsibilities:
- IT Infrastructure Management & Deployment: Maintain, monitor, and support diverse IT environments, ensuring optimal performance across multiple workstations, servers, and cloud-based systems.
- Advanced Troubleshooting & Escalation Support: Act as a senior escalation point for complex hardware, software, and networking issues, ensuring effective resolution.
- Windows Server & Microsoft 365 Administration: Manage Microsoft Server environments, Office 365 migrations, Exchange administration, and Hyper-V virtualized infrastructures.
- Active Directory & Network Services Optimization: Configure and maintain Active Directory, Group Policies, BNS, DHCP, and other essential network services.
- Security & Backup Solutions Management: Develop and maintain technical documentation, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
- Client-Focused IT Consulting & Strategy: Work closely with clients to asses their IT needs, provide expert recommendations and implement tailored solutions to meet business objectives.
Requirements & Qualifications:
Must have:
- Experience with Windows Server, Exchange, Hyper-V and Microsoft 365 migrations.
- Expertise in Windows Desktop OS installation, configuration and troubleshooting.
- Good knowledge of Active Directory, Group Policies, and security configurations.
Preferred:
- Industry Certifications: Microsoft (MCSA/MCSE), Cisco (CCNA/CCNP), VMware (VCP), or equivalent.
- Experience with Cisco Meraki, ASA firewalls, and VMware environments.
- Knowledge of backup solutions and IT service management platforms like ConnectWise.
