Job Overview:We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Affordable Housing Analyst to join our team, specializing in LIHTC (Low-Income Housing Tax Credit) and HUD certification data entry. The ideal candidate will have experience managing resident files, ensuring that all necessary documentation is properly maintained in our property management systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Data Entry & Property Onboarding:
- Accurately enter and onboard new properties into the property management system, ensuring all data is complete and compliant with regulatory standards.
- Training & Development:
- Utilize internal training resources to deepen knowledge of a range of affordable housing programs. Stay up-to-date with industry changes and regulatory updates.
- Program Compliance Monitoring:
- Generate and review monthly reports to monitor compliance with program requirements within Yardi and/or Onesite.
- Special Projects & Miscellaneous Tasks:
- Take on diverse tasks or special projects assigned by the Director or Senior Management.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of internal processes and systems.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Experience:
- A minimum of two (2) years of experience with HUD and LIHTC housing programs is expected. Knowledge of USDA/RD, HOME, or Public Housing programs is a plus.
- Education:
- High school diploma or equivalent required. A degree in a related field is preferred.
- Attention to Detail:
- A meticulous, detail-oriented approach with a focus on data integrity and accuracy.
- Confidentiality:
- Ability to handle confidential information in accordance with HUD confidentiality requirements, ensuring resident profiles and proprietary data are securely managed.
- Technical Skills:
- Proficient in property management software such as Yardi and/or Onesite.
- Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly in Excel, with the ability to analyze and interpret data.
- Problem-Solving & Analytical Skills:
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, recognize trends, and provide actionable insights to enhance compliance and efficiency.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to present complex data clearly and effectively to internal teams and management.
- Time Management:
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
