Job Purpose:
The Sales Administrator is responsible for learning all the administrative and order writing functions of the Sales Representative and the Logistics Manager and Sales positions and performing those tasks in support of the Sales Team.
Duties and Responsibilities:
· Provide timely and accurate support to the Sales Team
· Build customer, vendor, and transporter relationships
· Provide excellent customer service
· Report on sales calls and visits to VP and sales team as appropriate
· Attend Required Sales and Shipping meetings
· Respond to and Solve Customer Complaints
· Follow all appropriate Company Policies, Procedures, and Work Instructions
· Support Sales and Marketing efforts during Trade Shows or other events
· Establish and maintain continuous improvement (2 Second Lean), problem solving (KATA technique), and Root Cause analysis
· Maintain ISO 9001:2015 departmental standards
Qualifications:
· Experience in Customer service
· Understanding of the sales process and dynamics
· Professionalism, patience, and a “people first” attitude
· Strong customer service and interpersonal skills
· Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
· Works well independently and in a team environment
· Self-motivated, fast learner, exceptional problem-solving abilities
· Efficient multi-tasker in fast-paced, changing environment
· Proficient in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook
· Zoom, Skype, and MS Teams skills
· Experience with CRM and SAGE a plus
Working Conditions:
· In office work environment
· Occasional steel mill environment, PPE required (safety-sensitive)
· Occasional travel as needed for Trade Show or Customer support (weekends possible)
Physical Requirements:
· Ability to sit for extended periods of time
· Ability to occasionally stand or walk
· Ability to lift items (occasionally more than 10 lbs.)
· Various repetitive motions – typing, scanning, copying
Essential Job Functions:
· Learn all the required Company, Sales, and Logistics work instructions and perform accurately
· Accurately quote product pricing to customers
· Manage and respond to web-site inquiries and quote requests
· Work and communicate directly with Department and Logistics managers
· Obtain and provide freight quotes to Sales Team as needed
· Prepare shipments for invoicing
· Calculate product Lead Times
· Allocate Pos and pick sheets for shipping
· Research and understand galvanized POs timing for ship dates
· Understand and facilitate LTL and Full Load shipment process
· Scan invoices
· Assist VP of Sales as needed

Pay: $17.00 per hour
