Summary

- Oversees the daily operations of physical security systems and processes to ensure a safe, secure, and welcoming environment. Drives innovation, process improvement, and integration of security technologies to align with the Organization’s objectives and within regulatory requirements.
- Oversees the general administration of the organization's physical security systems, including visitor management, premise control, alarm monitoring, access control, and video surveillance.
- Serves as the organization's subject matter expert for all physical security systems, focusing on operations, innovation, process improvement, automation, integrations, procedure development, and training.
- Explores new technologies, conducts research, and reviews system manufacturer communications to stay informed about industry best practices and system improvements.
- Develops, maintains, and modifies procedures related to the operation, identification, prioritization, and resolution of security system incidents and requests. Coordinates troubleshooting and vendor interactions.
- Manages access credentials, pins, and branch door codes according to policy to ensure appropriate access levels.
- Maintains video quality and coverage standards, manages video requests from internal and external parties, and provides video support for internal investigations.
- Oversees the premise control system for branch locations, including managing codes, passcodes, passphrases, and call lists.
- Manages maintenance programs for physical security systems and AED equipment, including identifying operational issues, planning, vendor coordination, reporting, and developing preventative measures. Utilizes CMMS for documentation and tracking.
- Manages work orders submitted by employees and security vendors through CMMS or other methods (text, Teams, email, in-person) to ensure timely and effective resolution. Ensure courteous communication, proper documentation, vendor time tracking, and trend identification.
- Manages furniture and door key inventories, documentation, assignment, and returns for headquarters and branch locations.
- Oversees all physical security system reporting requirements, including automated, scheduled, or one-time requests to ensure compliance with FMFCU policies and procedures.
- Manages the organization's emergency response training program, including first aid, CPR, AED, evacuation, and emergency response guidelines.
- Tracks costs against annual budget line items and make recommendations during the budget phase based on life cycle, performance, and trends.
- Supports internal and third-party audit requirements related to physical security systems and other job responsibilities.
- Assists in creating educational presentations and training related to security responsibilities.
- Remains available 24/7 with a two-hour physical response time and a 20-minute call response time when designated as the on-call representative,.
- Provides support to the Corporate Security Officer in response to physical security breaches.
- Supports the Corporate Security Officer with the administration of the department's disaster recovery plan.
- Adhere to operational controls, including compliance with all required regulations and policies such as the Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) and Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) to ensure the safety and soundness of the Franklin Mint Federal Credit Union and its members.
- Bachelor's degree in Security Management, Criminal Justice, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field preferred.
- 2-4 years of experience in physical security analysis, including monitoring, detecting, and responding to physical security incidents
- Certifications such as Associate Protection Professional (APP) Certified Protection Professional (CPP), Physical Security Professional (PSP), or other relevant certifications from organizations like ASIS International preferred.
- Technical knowledge of physical security systems, such as access control, video surveillance, intrusion detection, and alarm systems

- Ability to meet with or service internal/external customers as needed at various locations in the company’s geographic area.
- Must have a valid driver’s license
