Summary

• Manages the end-to-end design, organization, execution, and reporting of assigned projects, ensuring timely delivery, adherence to budget, and compliance with quality standards. Utilizes strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills to lead teams, overcome challenges, and achieve project goals that align with FMFCU’s Strategic Plan.

Key Responsibilities

• Advocates for the consistent application of FMFCU's project management methodology across all projects. Coaches team members and stakeholders on best practices and the importance of following standardized processes to ensure project success.
• Collaborates with stakeholders to evaluate and define new projects, establishing clear project requirements, scope, timelines, resource estimates, and deliverables. Leads stakeholder relationship management, ensuring alignment with organizational goals, resolving conflicts, and maintaining strong, positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Implements and manages the project communication plan, proactively leading discussions on project status, risks, and issues. Ensures timely and effective communication to stakeholders, driving resolutions and tracking project performance against KPIs to identify areas for continuous improvement.
• Defines and tracks key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure project success, team performance, and stakeholder satisfaction. Monitors project performance against these KPIs, ensuring timely delivery within scope and budget. Collaborates with leadership to refine metrics as business goals evolve.
• Acts as an accountability partner to the Project Sponsor, maintaining focus on member value drivers, overseeing project team and vendor performance, and guiding high-stakes decisions. Takes ownership of project risks, escalating issues as necessary to ensure timely resolution and alignment with business priorities.
• Manages project resources, identifying and mitigating risks, and maintaining accurate, organized documentation throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring efficient resource utilization, proactive risk management, and compliance with documentation and archiving standards to support successful project delivery.
• Assists in the integration of new systems, upgrades, and features into daily operations, ensuring alignment with the Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC). Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure seamless implementation and user adoption, providing ongoing support and addressing any issues throughout the process.
• Contributes to the ongoing development and maturity of FMFCU’s project management methodology by soliciting stakeholder feedback, identifying areas for improvement, and refining PMO processes.
• Leads coordination with relevant departments to develop and deliver standard operating procedures (SOPs) and training materials, ensuring the effective implementation of new processes and systems for retail and operations teams.
• Attends user conferences and/or participate in user groups to stay current on system enhancements and best practices.
• Is responsible for adhering to operational controls, including compliance with all required regulations and policies such as the Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) and Office of Foreign Assess Control (OFAC) to ensure the safety and soundness of the Franklin Mint Federal Credit Union and its members.

Qualifications

Education/Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Business or Finance or a business related field of study and a minimum of 4 years of related experience.
• Project Management Certification(s) such as PMP, Six Sigma, Scrum Master, or similar certifications preferred.
• Experience managing cross-functional teams or working within a PMO environment is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, Hybrid, etc.) and the ability to adapt them to meet project needs.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring successful delivery within scope, budget, and timelines.
