What are the responsibilities and job description for the Students at FPU Only - Grounds Assistant AY24-25 position at Franklin Pierce University?
Job Summary :
Perform work on campus grounds including operating lawn mowers, hedge trimmers, and other power and hand tools. Must be able to lift up to 50lbs. Ability to work with minimal supervision. May work with full time employees performing grounds related duties including event and conferences set ups. Must possess a valid driver's license and be able to become certified to drive University vehicles. Individuals may be required to work some weekends, holidays, and other mandatory days. Other duties as assigned.
Experience and Qualifications :
- Must maintain a high level of integrity and the ability to maintain confidentiality and discretion.
- Maintain acceptable work habits, punctuality and regularity of attendance to arrive and leave work on time and observe established break and lunch periods.
- Ability to effectively communicate and follow oral instructions in English.
- Ability to effectively read written instructions, signs, and products in English.
- Adhere to University protocol relating to safety procedures.
- Adhere to the established policies and procedures established by Franklin Pierce University
- Accept and render constructive criticism in a professional manner.
- Carry out all responsibilities and objectives in a professional manner.
