What are the responsibilities and job description for the TRANSLATOR position at Franklin Precision Industry Inc?
General Position Summary
Assist in the general HR functions such as benefits, payroll, training, employee engagement, and provide support to expats and their family members
Essential Functions (70% HR)
- Administer company benefits and insurance enrollments—Medical, Dental, Vision, etc. for Company Code C-32 (Aisan Expats) and FPI members when necessary
- Administer and assist Expats and families with insurance claims, medical visits, consultations, and various other appointments
- Assist Expat ADP end users with ADP functions (such as time keeping) and reporting
- Prepare and present training to expats in regards to EHS, HR Policy, ADP platform, compliance and any other training that may be identified for Company Code C-32
- Assist in overall FPI communication efforts and projects, assist in maintaining communication boards and administering employee surveys

Assist in various HR projects, including but not limited to:
- Company Events
- Employee Recognition Programs
- Wellness Program
- Kaizen Projects
- Cost Reduction
- Expat Time and Attendance / Payroll Support
- Provide overall HR support in the areas of Benefits, Safety, Health and Wellness, Administrative Duties, Reporting/Compliance, Employee Recognition, Employee Relations
- Report assigned monthly activity to department head as needed
- Assist with Safety walks and participate in overall safety activity
- Assist with other functions within the HR department as needed.
Job Dimensions (Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities or KSAs)
- Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Lotus Notes
- Math skills for invoice consolidation and adjusting premium payments
- The HR Specialist is expected to attend relevant training in order to improve knowledge and skills.
- Ability to solve problems
Minimum Qualifications
Education Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Associates Degree Preferred
Work Experience Requirements
- 1-2 years’ experience preferred
