Position: 7d Van DriverHours/ schedule: 5.25 hours per day; 6:30 -9:30 am and 1:30-3:45pm; Monday - Friday; school year and 5 weeks each summer. Location: DistrictwideSalary : Hourly Pay as determined by the CBABenefits EligibleSummary:The Franklin Public Schools, a Prek-12 district, is seeking a 7d Van Driver to drive students with special needs to and from school. We will train the right candidate.Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Safely transport students to and from school.
- Maintain cleanliness of vehicle
- Operate vehicle in accordance with all Federal and State traffic laws
- Complete weekly documentation and record keeping as required by the district
- Valid drivers license and willingness to obtain 7d drivers license (FPS will provide training)
- Must be able to communicate effectively and clearly in with students, parents, teachers, and staff
- Must enjoy working with children, and always possess the ability to show patience and empathy
- Massachusetts 7D license
- Experience operating a van for students or adults with special needs
