Job Summary:Senior High School
Life Skills/ Autistic Support Teacher: Support students with a variety of learning styles by providing intervention and remediation; work with all stakeholders in order to better support students. Ensure that all student maintain a high level of academic achievement.
Transition Coordinator: Conduct pre-vocational interest surveys, learning style inventories, evaluations and situational assessments in the community and at school. Coordinates school and community work based learning opportunities, identifies appropriate accommodations, provide assistance to students on the job when necessary, and monitors student’s job performance. Serves as a resource and liaison to families, parents, students, teachers and other stakeholders on transition process. Provides in-service trainings to staff on transition topics, transition IEPs, and new changes that occur as a result of Indicator 13.

Required Documents:
Current PA Special Education and English Certification
Current (dated within five years) Child Abuse, PA State Criminal History and PDE FBI Clearances as required by the Child Protective Services Law and PA School Code at time of hire
Current Act 168 Verification required at time of interview.
