Position Summary
The Associate Director of Admission plays a vital role in supporting Franklin Road Academy's admissions process, focusing on the recruitment and onboarding of new families, particularly for grades 8-12. This position also contributes to the retention of current families and oversees the Student Ambassador Program. The Associate Director of Admission collaborates closely with faculty, administrators, students, and prospective and current families to enhance the admissions experience and promote the school's mission.
Essential Responsibilities
- Manage the admissions process for grades 8-12, guiding prospective families through application steps and ensuring all required documents are collected and maintained in the admissions database.
- Lead campus tours for prospective students and families, ensuring a welcoming experience, and complete all follow-up actions, including a personalized thank-you to the family and documentation in the admissions database.
- Serve as an ambassador of Franklin Road Academy, fostering relationships with prospective and current families, faculty, and the broader community.
- Oversee the Student Ambassador Program, including recruitment, training, and coordination of student volunteers.
- Assist in the planning and execution of admissions events such as Open House, campus visits, and shadow days.
- Represent FRA at recruitment fairs, alumni events, and other outreach initiatives.
- Maintain accurate admissions records and ensure the database is up to date.
- Develop and sustain relationships with schools and organizations to strengthen enrollment efforts.
- Communicate effectively with newly enrolled and prospective families, ensuring a seamless transition into the FRA community.
