Franklin Wellness and Rehabilitation Center, a skilled nursing facility located in Franklin TN is seeking an Admissions Coordinator to assist the Admissions Director with referrals, insurance verification, admissions, paperwork, and other duties.
Admissions Coordinator Job Responsibilities :
- Responsible for assisting the Admissions Director, Clinical Liaison, and Marketing Director in growing the facility's census.
- Communicate with case managers and discharge planners, families, and other referral sources.
- Conduct facility tours.
- Manage the admission process by maintaining Room Control, timely follow up, and manage occupancy levels.
- Verify insurance and obtain authorizations as needed. Communicate with referral sources when authorizations are approved.
- Complete admissions paperwork with residents and / or family members in person, electronically, or via phone.
- Participate in meetings and calls related to Admissions and Census.
- Attend events or lunches as necessary per the Admissions Team.
- Maintain Room Readiness, working with housekeeping and nursing to ensure beds are available and cleaned for new admissions or returns.
- Perform any other additional duties as requested by the Administrator, Regional Director of Marketing & Communications, Clinical Liaison, Admission Director, or Marketing Director.
