Position : Plant Engineer
As Plant Engineer, you will be responsible for vast maintenance and safety responsibilities across the entire plant.
The Plant Maintenance engineer serves as the key technical resource for the manufacturing operation focusing on preventative maintenance, troubleshooting and problem resolution for electronic / mechanical equipment issues. This engineer also plays a key role in continuous improvement.
Responsibilities may include :
- Develop and implement Total Productive Maintenance
- Coordinate maintenance requirements with internal resources and contractors
- Chair / lead and facilitate Safety Committee Meetings
- Ensure compliance to all state and federal regulations
- Ensure compliance of OSHA and relevant state safety requirements
- Coordinate maintenance activities with maintenance supervision and production supervision
- Develop and implement cleaning requirements for common areas (stairs, walkways, offices)
- Maintain Safety Data Sheets (SDS) and MSDS online
- Perform regular audits of all safety control programs
- Perform Accident Investigations; report findings to Management
- Initiate Keep track maintenance requests
- Maintain skills in welding, machining, and electrical / electronics
- Establish standard shop supplies items and maintain proper supply levels
- Place orders / requisitions; coordinate MRO procurement with Materials and Supply Chain personnel
- Train with Mold Maker to oversee all tooling maintenance and repairs including but not limited to scraping, modifications, storage, repairs, etc.
- Oversee, maintain and reinforce proper molding tools transport; storage identification to include warehouse tooling locations and housekeeping
- Support as a Technician to Mold Department on PM, production, safety, Lean Manufacturing, Continuous Improvement initiatives, and repairs as needed
- Maintain an efficient and safe working environment for all employees
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within department
- Maintain work area in a clean, orderly, and safe manner; return tools to the designated tool rack

- Follow established policies and procedures support of the Company’s Quality and AS9100 standards
- Act within expected Company standards including Quality / AS9100 initiatives and environmental, health, and safety matters
