Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily operations of the café, including managing staff, ensuring customer satisfaction, and maintaining a clean and organized environment
- Provide excellent customer service by greeting and assisting customers, taking orders, and addressing any concerns or complaints
- Manage inventory and order supplies as needed to ensure smooth operation of the café
- Coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food production and delivery
- Develop and implement strategies to increase sales and meet revenue targets
- Train and mentor new employees, providing guidance on café policies, procedures, and customer service standards
- Conduct regular staff meetings to communicate updates, address concerns, and foster a positive team culture
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in food handling and preparation
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in a hotel or restaurant setting
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to handle difficult situations with professionalism and empathy
- Knowledge of kitchen operations and food production processes
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively
- Experience in interviewing, hiring, and training new employees
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Culinary background or knowledge is a plus
