Job Description

The Content & Social Media Manager will play a key role in managing our podcast, overseeing content production, and driving social media engagement. This part-time, remote position requires exceptional organizational skills, creativity, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

In this role, you will be fully responsible for video production and social media content creation. You will coordinate podcast guest bookings, lead video production for both short-form and long-form content, and develop strategies to grow our brand’s online presence. You will also create and manage social media content calendars, assign tasks to consultants, and oversee content distribution across platforms.

The Content & Social Media Manager will also support copywriting efforts for newsletters and partnership announcements. Success in this role requires attention to detail, initiative, and a deep understanding of digital marketing best practices.

Duties & Responsibilities

Podcast Management

Curate a list of potential guests and coordinate bookings.
Send invites, confirmations, and reminders to guests.
Provide time stamps for producers and social media content.
Oversee video editing for promotional content.
Publish and distribute podcast content across social platforms.

Content Creation & Production

Lead creative concepts, shot lists, and scripts for content shoots.

Oversee and execute video production, including editing and posting both short-form and long-form video content.

Edit and publish high-quality photos from content shoots.

Social Media Strategy & Execution

Oversee social media content from ideation to execution.

Assign content creation tasks and manage deadlines.

Develop and maintain a social media content calendar.

Create and post engaging content to Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, and YouTube.

Implement strategies to grow social media following and engagement.

Copywriting & Communication

Write and distribute engaging newsletters.

Draft partner deal announcements and brand updates.

Qualifications

Proven experience in content creation, social media management, or digital marketing, ideally in a fast-paced environment.

Franchise experience preferred.

Expert knowledge of social media platforms including Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube, and TikTok, with a strong understanding of engagement strategies and trends.

Proficiency with content creation tools such as Canva , Postly , Riverside , and video editing software.

Experience in managing social media campaigns including paid ads, analytics, and content optimization to boost engagement and growth.

Excellent copywriting and storytelling skills with the ability to craft engaging content across a variety of formats (social posts, newsletters, partner announcements, etc.).

Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple content pieces, deadlines, and collaborations.

Creativity and attention to detail in both content creation and campaign strategy.

Comfortable working independently and taking initiative in a remote setting with minimal supervision.

Ability to adapt and learn quickly, staying current with new social media features, tools, and trends.

Proven experience in analytics and reporting (Google Analytics, social media insights, etc.) to measure content effectiveness and make data-driven decisions.

Location & Hours

Remote position

This role requires 25-30 hours per week , to be worked within the Monday–Friday, 9 AM – 5 PM EST window . While you have flexibility in setting your schedule within this timeframe, a consistent schedule is required to ensure collaboration and availability during business hours.

You must have a quiet, professional working environment, separate from family activities , to ensure focus and productivity.
