REGIONAL OPERATIONS MANAGER
The Regional Manager is responsible for leading the region to ensure business operations run smoothly and efficiently. This key leader is responsible for developing and leading a Team of high-achieving Account Managers, monitoring assigned key performance indicators (KPI's), controlling labor budgets and the overall financial management of the region. They are responsible for setting and maintaining a standard of uncompromising excellence, overseeing processes and procedures, analyzing data to identify areas for improvement, and implementing strategies to increase productivity and profitability. They manage staff, monitor performance, and ensure the team is meeting goals and objectives while simultaneously establishing and deepening relationships with vendors, customers, and Team Members.
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1. CUSTOMER EXPERIENCE – 33%
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers by being responsive, attentive to their needs, and providing exceptional customer service.
- Conduct regular site visits and partnership meetings with customers to discuss service quality, gather feedback, and implement service improvements.
- Anticipate and address potential concerns or challenges, demonstrating a proactive and solutions-oriented approach.
- Collaborate with customers to customize cleaning solutions (additional services) and based on their specific requirements and preferences.
- Continuously evaluate and drive customer service model delivery to maximize the value we provide to our customers.
- Manage and execute customer programs so that they are efficient, competitive, and contractually secure.
2. EMPLOYEE EXPERIENCE – 33%
- Provide leadership, direction, guidance, and development to a team of Account Managers and Team Members.
- Drive employee engagement and retention by ensuring the first 90 days of the employee experience model is well-executed.
- Set clear performance expectations, conduct regular performance evaluations, and provide constructive feedback to enhance team performance and individual growth.
- Foster a positive work environment that promotes teamwork, professionalism, and employee engagement.
- Conduct regular team meetings to communicate goals, expectations, and updates, and encourage open dialogue.
- Mentor and coach Account Managers and Team Members in effective leadership and problem-solving skills, supporting their professional growth and development.
- Develop succession plans to ensure a steady pipeline of talent for key positions within the region.
- Identify training needs and provide ongoing training to Account Managers and Team Members on cleaning techniques, safety protocols, equipment operation, and customer service.
- Promote a culture of continuous improvement by encouraging professional development and staying updated on industry trends and best practices.
3. COMPANY STEWARDSHIP – 33%
- Manage and optimize resources such as labor, equipment, supplies, and budget allocations to achieve operational and financial goals.
- Monitor and control expenses, review budget reports, and make data-driven decisions to improve cost-efficiency without compromising quality.
- Monitor supply and equipment inventories across the region, coordinating procurement, to prevent disruptions in service delivery.
- Work together with senior leadership to develop and implement new strategies and plans to enhance customer and employee experience.
- Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and environmental regulations, both internal and external, to maintain a safe and hazard-free work environment.
- Investigate and report incidents, accidents, and near-misses, and implement corrective actions to prevent reoccurrences.
- Assist in recruiting, hiring, developing, and holding accountable the best possible team to meet customer service and financial targets.

REQUIREMENTS
- 3-5 years multi-site management experience (highly desired, not required).
- Previous supervisor / management experience in service-related field (Janitorial Service preferred).
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
- Excellent computer skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, SharePoint, etc.).
- Ability to manage financial results.
- Understanding of cost control / P&L statements / budgeting.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Sharp organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Clear criminal history and a valid drivers’ license with good driving record.
- Able to work flexible hours including some nights and weekends.
- Occasional overnight travel may be required.
- Company sponsored acquisition of BSCAI - Certified Building Service Executive (CBSE) certification.
