The Director of Operations is responsible for all key business metrics in the portfolio. The Director of Operations maintains consistent contact with all brands to develop new ideas, strategy and advocacy to support growth and success under the BB portfolio. This position is a key partner with Information Technology and Finance departments.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Act as a liaison between Franworth and brand operations teams.
- Develop a relationship with all key brand leaders to identify issues and problems that can be addressed and communicated with the New Business Managers (NBM) & Franchise Business Manager (FBM) staff.
- Work to achieve productive and meaningful changes to the Franchise programs.
- Work with NBMs and FBMs to create meaningful and consistent franchise relations programs and approaches to interactions with the franchisees, including coaching tools, action plans and problem solving
- Develop and implement the Franchise operations standards model across all brands
- Refine productive financial models for all brands.
- Work closely with the IT Department on the development of PowerBI dashboards for all brands.
- Work closely with the Training department to ensure training material aligns with brand needs
- Manage operations vendor relationships.
- Help onboard new FBMs.
- Set initial 30-60-90-day goals for franchisees.
- Ability to travel to meet with brands, to strengthen relationships and provide support as needed
- Bachelor's Degree in Business or related field; or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the key accountabilities of the job required.
- 5 years progressive Franchise experience.
- 5 years in a leadership role (direct or indirect).
- Strong analytical, prioritizing, interpersonal, problem-solving, presentation, budgeting, project management (from conception to completion), & planning skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills (including analysis, interpretation, & reasoning).
- Ability to develop and maintain collaborative relationships with peers and colleagues across the organization, as well as internal and external clients.
- Ability to work well autonomously and within a team in a fast-paced and deadline-oriented environment.
- Ability to work with and influence peers and senior management.
- Self-motivated with critical attention to detail, deadlines and reporting.
- Works with the senior leadership team to define the group's strategic objectives; translates the group's objectives into centralized operational priorities and plans.
