Frasca International (a FlightSafety company) is a leading manufacturer of flight simulators, located in Urbana, Illinois, and is seeking an Electrical Assembler Trainee to work on-site in our Electronics Shop.
This position is full-time with benefits working on a day-shift schedule. Full-time benefits include Health/Dental/Vision Insurance, 100% Company-Paid Disability and Life Insurance, 401(k), Paid-Time Off, Annual Bonus.
Responsibilities include:
- Assembling electrical harnesses, routing cables, and wiring switch panels
- Reading and interpreting schematics drawings, diagrams, specifications, work orders and reports to determine material requirements and assembly instructions
- Soldering and using various crimp tools and cable testers
- Assisting with mechanical assembly as needed
Qualifications include:
- Soldering experience -- or the ability and desire to quickly develop the skill
- Dexterity to perform small assembly and repair work
- Skilled at using hand tools (e.g., screwdriver, pliers, tape measure, wire strippers, wire cutters, crimpers)
