Fraser is seeking a Part-Time Grant Writer to support the Institutional Giving Manager in drafting proposals and applications, collaborating with cross-functional teams to track and report metrics, and identifying programmatic needs for future proposals. This role will manage a portfolio of foundations and work closely with the Institutional Giving Manager to develop strategic growth plans and identify annual funding opportunities. Additionally, the Grant Writer will support the Development team in achieving its annual fundraising goals.
Responsibilities :
- Manages a portfolio of funders.
- Researches and identify new grant opportunities from foundations, corporations, and government entities.
- Analyzes funding trends and eligibility requirements to align with organizational priorities.
- Demonstrates excellent written communication skills with a track record of communicating effectively with diverse audiences.
- Writes compelling and tailored grant proposals and letters of inquiry (LOIs).
- Develops accurate budgets and financial documents for proposals.
- Manages grant submission processes, ensuring deadlines are met.
- Prepares and submits progress and final reports to funders.
- Maintains accurate records of all grant applications, submissions, and funding decisions in the donor database or tracking system.
