Position Summary: As a Cook, you will prepare high-quality meals while adhering to dietary needs, safety standards, and our core values. This is a breakfast and lunch line work and prep position.
Schedule: 6:00am-2:30pm Tuesday through Saturday
Here is what you will need:
- A minimum of one-year professional cooking experience, preferably in a health care setting
- Catering, Senior Living/ Institutional Batch Cooking experience is desired
- Ability to follow standardized recipes and verbal/ written adjustments to recipes
- Understanding of different food cuisines and flavor profiles
- Experience with high volume production is desired
- Excellent customer service skills essential
- Must be able to speak, read and write the English language
- Must have high school education or equivalent
- Must have ability to work independently, making sound decisions
Here is what you will do:
- Prepares menu items within allotted time period using appropriate standardized recipes.
- Assures optimal quality, temperature and appearance of meals.
- Adheres to special diet needs and is knowledgeable of allergen information.
- Adheres to food safety and workplace safety standards, policies and procedures as regulated by department.
- Ensures proper sanitation of kitchen and equipment following department standards, policies and procedures. Exercises proper use of all equipment.
- Follows uniform guidelines.
- Performs other duties as assigned.

Compensation and Benefits
- Pay Range: $19.80-22.74 per hour.
