Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Outside Sales Representative to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for generating new business opportunities and maintaining relationships with existing clients. The ideal candidate will possess strong sales skills, a passion for customer service, and the ability to effectively communicate our product offerings to potential customers.
In your role as an outside salesperson, you will be responsible for the following essential functions:
- Maintaining and developing relationships with existing customers
- Identify and contact new potential customers
- Meet or exceed established sales targets
- Make in person visits to customer locations as required
- Schedule and perform product learning seminars to drive additional sales revenue with existing and/or new customers.
- Coordinate marketing programs as directed
- Attend industry trade shows
- Collect and disseminate any/all information gained regarding market trends, competitive pricing, new products being introduced into the market as well as any details specific to existing or target customers that may provide opportunities or challenges for future revenue growth
- Identify, analyze and react to sales trends with existing customer base
To be considered for this position you must have the following qualifications and\or experience:
- High School diploma or GED
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business administration, communications or a related field preferred
- Proven sales experience
- Proficiency with all Microsoft Office applications
- Familiarity with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software
- Strong consultive sales skills
- Excellent organizational skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Effective negotiation skills
- Exceptional customer service skills
- Detail oriented.
