Position Summary : The CNA is responsible for providing direct, patient care with compassion and in a manner, that respects resident's dignity and privacy and follows the plan of care. Our Resident to CNA ratio is 7 residents to 1 CNA. You will have teammates and a RN as well to support you.
Hiring for full time schedule to include the following days. Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, and Saturday.
Here's what you'll do :
- Performs transferring, positioning and ambulation utilizing appropriate equipment per standards of practice and with patient safety as priority. Understands good body mechanics and use of safety transfer devices to prevent injury to self and patient.
- Completes documentation in an accurate and timely manner per organizational standards using electronic medical record. Observes and reports the resident's' condition or changes to immediate supervisor.
- Follows individual patient care plans to provide assistance with all activities of daily living.
- Responds to call lights in a timely manner that meets organizational standards.
- Takes and records all vitals as required.
- Maintains residents' rooms to provide a clean, safe and accessible environment.
- Attends staff meetings, In-Service training and continuing education. Completes on-line as assigned.
- Assists in the dining room and contributes to a pleasurable dining experience for the residents.
- Completes other duties as assigned.
