Role Overview:
As a Commercial Property Manager, you'll be integral to the daily operations of a portfolio of commercial properties. From ensuring tenant satisfaction to maintaining property appearances according to our high standards, you'll be involved in every aspect. You'll manage costs and approved capital expenditures while growing your skill set in a dynamic industry.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for a portfolio of commercial properties.
- Cultivate and maintain exceptional customer service across the portfolio.
- Oversee maintenance staff and collaborate with third-party vendors.
- Provide direction and motivation to the accounting and maintenance teams.
- Conduct regular property inspections to uphold quality standards.
- Foster strong tenant and property owner relationships through personalized communication.
- Ensure compliance with building codes, regulations, and directives.
- Uphold client's/owner's policies and procedures.
- Manage the financial performance of the portfolio.
- Develop and present annual operating and capital budgets.
- Facilitate vendor service bids as needed.
- Prepare and submit CAM reconciliations with support from the accounting department.
- Generate monthly financial and narrative reports for property owners.
- Fulfill all other duties associated with commercial real estate portfolio management.
Qualifications:
- Detail-oriented, analytical, and proficient with computers.
- Ability to interpret financial reports and grasp accounting principles.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Problem-solving aptitude for building systems.
- Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and a keen willingness to learn.
- Obtain Property Manager License within one year of employment.
