A Day in the Life of a Battery Technician:
This role is responsible for performing planned maintenance, installation and repairs to industrial batteries and chargers.

Education/Experience:
- Minimum 1-year basic automotive maintenance experience (oil changes, brake and/or belt replacement)
- Experience working on lift trucks, industrial batteries and charges preferred
- Able to utilize basic shop equipment and various hand tools a plus
- Ability to troubleshoot and problem solve a must
- Excellent interpersonal and verbal communication skills
- Highly motivated, well-organized, and quality focused
- Customer service driven
- Capable of using tablets to record service updates
Principle Responsibilities:
- Perform preventive maintenance on both batteries and chargers.
- Troubleshoot/diagnosis industrial batteries and chargers to determine malfunction.
- Run component testing and repair industrial batteries, battery chargers and applicable accessories.
- Install industrial batteries, battery chargers and applicable accessories.
- Transport and handle industrial batteries, chargers and material handling equipment.
- Provide exceptional, professional, and clear communication to customers during all field visits
- Operate industrial equipment, forklift, aerial lifts, utility lifts, as well as tools, including volt-meter, hydrometer, hydraulic crimper, torch kit, other basic hand tools.
- Maintain records of service and repairs for work completed.
- Follow all safety policy and procedures.
- Drive to customer locations to perform duties outlined.
