Our client, a non-profit organization with an incredible mission, is looking for an HR Director to support 450 employees. Reporting in directly to the company’s highly esteemed CEO, you will lead a team of 5 direct reports delivering on everything from the strategic HR Business Partnership through HR operations, benefits, employee relations and staffing. The ideal candidate will possess 7 years of experience in HR from the non-profit sector with a background of managing/developing others. The role sits onsite 4 days a week on the upper west side of New York City; this is a highly visible role so ability to travel to other locations as needed is key for success. Base 140-150k commensurate with experience.
Additionally, in this role, you will collaborate with the leadership team to shape critical decisions impacting people & culture, assess HR-related risks, and offer tailored solutions that align with company values. You will lead the implementation and oversight of comprehensive HR policies, recruitment, compensation, employee relations and benefits programs to ensure equity, market competitiveness and compliance. You will foster a work environment where employees feel valued while implementing systems and processes to improve HR operations, leveraging technology to enhance efficiency and integration with Finance/Payroll.
