Our client is seeking an experienced Senior Payroll Specialist to manage the payroll function for a family ran real estate organization. This role requires a deep understanding of payroll processing, tax compliance, union payroll, and benefits administration. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing payroll for 300 employees, including handling payroll taxes, LOA (Leave of Absence), and reporting. Strong proficiency in Excel (VLOOKUPs, pivot tables) is essential to streamline reporting processes. Key Responsibilities :
- Process payroll for 300 employees, ensuring accuracy and timeliness for all pay periods.
- Manage payroll tax filings, deductions, and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations.
- Handle union payroll processing and compliance with collective bargaining agreements.
- Administer payroll-related processes for Leave of Absence (LOA) and employee benefits.
- Produce and analyze payroll reports, ensuring data accuracy and resolving discrepancies as needed.
- Maintain payroll records, ensuring proper documentation and compliance with all applicable laws.
- Collaborate with HR, Finance, and other departments to resolve payroll-related issues and ensure smooth payroll operations.
- Utilize Excel to prepare and manage complex reports, including VLOOKUPs and pivot tables, for various payroll analyses.
