Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Senior Residential Designer who thrives on creating bespoke, high-end custom homes that inspire and endure. This role is ideal for a creative leader with at least 7 years of experience in residential design, who excels at client collaboration, team leadership, and innovative problem-solving. The Senior Residential Designer will play a key role in guiding projects from concept to completion, ensuring each design reflects our clients' unique vision and aligns with Frazier Home Design's commitment to excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with Clients: Build strong client relationships while developing and refining their vision into beautiful, functional homes.
- Sketch and Design: Translate ideas into compelling designs through exceptional sketching and design expertise.
- Lead Teams: Manage project teams of designers and drafters, ensuring high-quality results on every project.
- Manage Workflows: Oversee multiple projects at a time, maintaining timelines, managing schedules, and meeting deadlines.
- Collaborate with Leadership: Work closely with the owner of the company to align on goals and maintain design standards.
- Problem Solve: Tackle design challenges with ease, creating innovative solutions while maintaining a passion for quality and detail.
Qualifications
- Experience: At least 7 years in residential design, with experience in leading projects and managing teams.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency with BIM software (experience with ArchiCAD is a plus, but not required).
- Understanding of Construction: Extensive knowledge of how homes are built, including structure, materials, and functionality.
- Leadership Skills: Proven ability to manage, inspire, and mentor others.
- Responsibility & Dedication: A track record of dependability, hard work, and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Passion for Design: A love for creating bespoke, with strong sketching and workflow management skills
