We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Floor Technician to join our team. Duties
- Perform routine cleaning and maintenance of floors, including sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming.
- Execute carpet cleaning procedures using appropriate techniques and equipment.
- Conduct floor care activities such as buffing, stripping, and waxing to enhance the appearance of hard surface floors.
- Ensure all cleaning supplies and equipment are properly maintained and stored.
- Respond promptly to spills or accidents, ensuring a safe environment for all building occupants.
- Collaborate with other custodial staff to complete larger cleaning projects as needed.
- Adhere to safety protocols and environmental standards in all cleaning practices.
Skills
- Proven experience in custodial work or commercial cleaning is preferred.
- Knowledge of environmental services and best practices in floor care.
- Proficiency in carpet cleaning techniques and equipment operation.
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to delivering high-quality results.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Excellent time management skills to efficiently complete tasks within designated timeframes.
- Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks and lift heavy objects when necessary.
