Job Purpose: The Desk Officer works onsite for a US Government client and supports that clients operations on specific issues or geographies.

Key Duties & Responsibilities
- Support a wide range of operational and programmatic activities to manage operations in specific geographic areas, or against specific issues.
- Provide support to client staff to plan, coordinate, and execute intelligence collection assignments using the best methodology for individual cases.
- Remain up-to-date on current events; foreign, defense and Army policy, as well as military and national security issues which may impact the clients mission.
- Serve as a liaison between military and civilian command components.
- Assist with special projects or studies of considerable scope and depth critical to the resolution or development of new collection concepts, architectures, and modalities.
- Draft formal correspondence per government client standards.
- All other duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Experience:
- A minimum of ten (10) years of experience providing HUMINT support
- A minimum of five (5) cumulative years of direct experience in HUMINT collection activities in tactical, operational, and strategic applications and three (3) years direct experience in collection management, all-source analysis, and desk officer reporting activities
- Current US Government TS/SCI security clearance and polygraph
- Willingness to work on-site on Fort Liberty
- Related bachelors degree (BA/BS) from an accredited college or university is preferred

- This is a customer-facing position representing FRDA to client employees. Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills are a must.
- Highly motivated, self-starter with demonstrated ability to spot new opportunities and spearhead new initiatives
- A friendly and collaborative attitude; ability to work well independently and in groups with minimal supervision; ability to navigate ambiguity, embrace client oversight at all levels, and balance competing demands
- Technical savvy is a must. Ability to use FRDA and client IT systems is required.
