Fred Astaire Dance Studios - Wisconsin Regional Office is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Events Assistant. The ideal candidate will possess strong office skills and demonstrate proficiency in problem solving. This role requires excellent time management abilities and a commitment to maintaining efficient office operations. This full-time position is scheduled Monday thru Friday from 9am to 4pm (occasional weekends). Experience in Events/ Banquets/ Hotels is a plus
Responsibilities
- Create Meeting Agendas/ Attendance Notes with Microsoft Word
- Prepare Judge and Vendor Invitations and submits via DocuSign.
- Conduct ongoing venue research and provide information about new spaces
- Perform proofreading of documents to ensure accuracy and professionalism.
- Manage coordination and production of event materials
- Research Apartments and Moving Company's for new Instructors
- Track event gifts and logo merchandise
- Any assistant support related duties and/or special project needs that may arise
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and SharePoint.
- Ability to problem solve and have confidence when communicating.
- Strong attention to detail with exceptional proofreading skills.
