Key Responsibilities:
Payroll:
- Review and confirm employee timesheets, sending friendly reminders for any missing entries
- Create payroll reports and oversee essential documentation
- Enter and validate employee information in Payroll Worksheets
- Maintain accuracy across deductions, gross pay, and payroll records
- Upload payroll files, kickstart processing, and generate insightful reports
- Log entries in QuickBooks and communicate totals via WhatsApp
- Manage invoice payments as required
- Respond to employee queries regarding payroll, benefits, and HR-related matters with care and attentiveness
- Facilitate benefits administration, processing enrollments and effective communication
- Keep employee records up to date and lend a helping hand during the onboarding process
- Assist with employee benefits programs to deliver a seamless experience for all staff members
- Offer essential administrative support for various HR initiatives and projects
Essential Skills & Qualifications:
- Familiarity with online or cloud-based platforms is essential
- Previous experience as a Payroll or HR Assistant is a plus
- A solid 1-2 years of intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel is required
- Experience with the Microsoft 365 Suite and Adobe Acrobat for 1-2 years is needed
- Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive information with discretion is crucial
- Skilled in payroll software such as Paychex, ADP, and QuickBooks Payroll
- Familiar with QuickBooks Online and proficient in handling journal entries
- Over 2 years of experience in payroll/HR support, ideally with a background in managing multi-location payroll.
