Join our team as: Behavior Consultant
What You Will Do
The Behavior Consultant under the direction of the Regional Clinical Supervisor is responsible for assessing participant needs and developing an intervention plan to be implemented by Behavior Technicians (BTs) and Behavior Technician Trainers (BTTs). Behavior Consultants will utilize trauma-informed, individualized, strengths-based, culturally responsive, family-centered approach to provide high quality intervention and/or case management to participants and caregivers in their home, school, and community settings. The Behavior Consultant meets regularly with the Clinical Supervisor and/or Regional Clinical Supervisor to determine the progress of the participant. Behavior Consultants will be responsible for documentation of services; collaboration with other social services, Regional Center, educational or mental health professionals; and actively participating in group or individual supervision.
Shifts Available
Part Time 20 hours per week- Exempt. Schedule TBD
Salary Range
In accordance with California law, the expected salary range for this California position is between $22.55 and $28.78 per hour. The actual compensation will be determined based on experience and other factors permitted by law.

What You Bring to The Table (requirements):
- B.A. Degree in behavior analysis, child development, psychology, or relevant field AND two (2) years providing Applied Behavior Analysis services or clinical services to children, youth, or families.
- Knowledge of neuro-developmental disorders and autism.
- Motivation to continue learning and growing in the field of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA).
- Demonstrated ability to assess, triage and organize work.
- Demonstrated understanding of the developmental milestones of children, youth, or young adults to provide to provide care, treatment, and services.
- Strong ability to lead and inspire by promoting positive team morale and team cohesion.
- Demonstrated cultural responsiveness in working with diverse families and communities.
- Basic computer competence with the ability to use Microsoft Office Suite and electronic health records.
- Clean driving record and a current CA Driver’s License or ability to obtain CA driver’s license within 10 days after hired.
Preferred
- BCaBA certification in the state of California.
- Bilingual (Spanish/English) able to read, write and speak English and Spanish proficiently.
- One (1) year of year experience assessing participant needs and developing treatment plans to meet those need
