Program Overview:
Screening to Care is a School-Based behavioral health program that provides prevention and intervention services to students through Multi-Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS).
This innovative program offers comprehensive screening, small group interventions, and linkage to services to maximize students' social and emotional learning through coordinated services in school and in the community.
The goal of Screening to Care is to help students improve their mental and emotional health, overall wellbeing, positive school outcomes, and social and family relationships.
Job Summary:
The Parent/Family Partner provides direct care to identified parents and caregivers in a community or home setting. This may also include direct care to youth or young adults.
Responsibilities:
- Work collaboratively with the parent, caregiver, or participant and other community and treatment team members to provide therapeutic care.
Requirements:
- Experience as a parent who has received services for a special needs child.
- Basic computer and keyboarding competence with Microsoft Office Suite and/or electronic clinical documentation.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends.
- Dependable transportation and personal car insurance meeting minimum liability coverage required for position if driving for work or transporting participants.
- Familiarity with local communities.
- Fluency in prevailing language(s) of the community.
