Brief Description
Youth Partner- East Bay Wrap
Roll up your sleeves and join Fred Finch to make a real difference in the lives of youth and families. Youth Partners in our East Bay Wrap Program use a high-fidelity model that is honest, family centered, culturally/linguistically responsive and community based. The work is very challenging, and spiritually rewarding, especially to those who may have overcome barriers in the past.
Wraparound staff work with families utilizing a comprehensive team-based approach. Our program offers a myriad of services and support including behavioral and mental health assessment and interventions as well as medication and psychiatric support.
Fred Finch offers free trainings to improve mental health skills, and biannual scholarship opportunities for professional development (included paid peer certification).

Responsibilities
Full Time - Mon-Fri/9 am-5:30 pm
Salary Range
In accordance with California law, the expected salary range for this California position is between $20.48 and $26.14 per hour. The actual compensation will be determined based on experience and other factors permitted by law.

Responsibilities
- Meet 1:1 weekly with youth to support treatment goals, provide psychoeducation and peer coaching
- Attend Child and Family team meetings to collaborate with families and community partners to help families meet their goals
- Provide emotional support and practical advice to youth navigating complex systems
- Collaborate with a diverse team of mental health professionals
- Advocate on behalf of youth, ensuring their voices are heard and their needs are met
- Deliver culturally responsive services in working with diverse families
- Drive to meet youth in their communities (mileage reimbursement provided)
- Participate in individual and group supervision sessions

Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Clean driving record; current CA Driver’s License or ability to obtain within 10 days after hired
- Must have access to dependable transportation and minimum liability coverage
- TB test clearance, fingerprinting clearance, and any other state/federal licensing or certification requirements
- Direct lived experience as a consumer of services: social services, mental health, residential treatment or group home placements, foster care services, wraparound services, community resources and educational services for youth with special needs.
