The Study Aide will be part of a dynamic research lab working to test the effectiveness of lifestyle, behavioral, and nutritional education interventions on various clinical and quality of life outcomes in cancer survivors.
The Study Aide will support a health-focused research study by assisting with the day-to-day logistics of implementing a virtual intervention for participants in several states. This position offers hands-on experience in research processes and supports the research and clinical programs of Dr. Heather Greenlee.
This position requires 100% on-site work at Fred Hutch’s South Lake Union campus.

- Prepare participant material boxes and data collection boxes for mailing, ensuring accurate contents and labels, timely mailing, etc..
- Perform reminder communications for participants, assist with consenting as needed.
- Track and document issues and resolutions to streamline the setup process for future interns and studies.
- Regularly verify that data is connected and captured correctly.
- Track, flag, and resolve data discrepancies with the research team.
- Properly handle, transfer/courier, and track biological specimens (e.g., dried blood spot).
- Verify and record storage location in the proper format using standard platforms.
- Prepare and build forms, reports, and other data management tools in REDCap.
- Additional tasks and duties as assigned.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Proficiency with MS Word and Excel.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Some college course work completed.
- Experience with REDCap.
The hourly pay range for this position is from $20.76 to $29.54 and pay offered will be based on experience and qualifications.
