This position has an annualized market-based salary range of $179,000 - $269,000 and is eligible to participate in the annual incentive program. - Present and communicate the solution architecture to technical and non-technical partners, and demonstrate how solution design will enable business needs
- Ensure solution architecture aligns with business objectives, roadmaps and strategic solutions, as well as to Freddie Mac’s architecture principles and standards
- Define application and technical patterns, architecture project deliverables, including architecture patterns, decisions, and rationale for those decisions and architecture solution.
- Define and compare solution to determine the optimal solutions for business needs.
- Provide leadership and guidance in the following:
- Advises business owners, and IT groups regarding Freddie Mac architecture guideline
- Drives application architectural decisions for the systems under development
- Leads application integration and design discussions among multiple applications groups
- Influences key decisions for the technical and infrastructure architecture. Advises the system and infrastructure configuration from application performance, scalability, and capacity perspective.
- Provides guidance to business counterparts, customers, and top management on requirements pertinent to the technical capability
- Leverage Artificial Intelligence (AI) and machine learning in automation solutions to optimize processes and enhance system intelligence.
- Stay up to date with the latest trends in AI, DevOps, and automation to ensure the organization is using modern and effective practices.
- Identify and drive out adoption of new technologies in Solutions
- Seasoned professional with ability to make architecture and design decisions and tradeoffs for solution architecture that looks across the applications landscape and adheres to enterprise standards. Prior Solution architecture experience is a strongly preferred
- 4 years of AWS Cloud experience Hands-on experience working with AWS services EC2, S3, EKS, OpenShift, Lambda, API Gateway, RDS, CFT, etc.
- 10 years of experience in solution, application, architecture applied to multiple large-scale enterprise systems.10 years of experience in the programming language with two or more of the following Angular, Java, C , scripting Python, R.
- 4 years of large-scale digital transformation & AWS Cloud migration hands on experience with multiple technology areas like API, Microservices, Event Streaming, Logging & Monitoring, Databases (SQL, NOSQL), Containers, Serverless Frameworks, AI & ML etc.), DevOps
- Knowledge and experience of Data and AI /ML is a plus. Leverage Artificial Intelligence (AI) and machine learning in automation solutions to optimize processes and enhance system intelligence.
- Stay up to date with the latest trends in AI, DevOps, and automation to ensure the organization is using modern and effective practices.
- Identify and drive out adoption of new technologies in the Software Lab.
- Bachelor's degree is required
- Hands on experience with the latest cloud-based AWS technology and familiarity with the latest industry trends and mobile technology is a plus
- Technical and Architectural leadership with knowledge of both legacy and modern cloud based distributed systems
- Keeping up with the latest technology trends and AI
- Strong judgement with excellent decision-making skills and excellent analytical skills, ability to handle ambiguity and lead technical solutions.
- Ability to lead, collaborate and influence issue resolution across various groups in the organization
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and ability to succinctly present subject matter. Ability to communicate effectively technology problems/solutions to business partners and senior leadership and translate high level directives into technical approaches consumed by technical groups
- Highly motivated and upbeat self-starter with proven organizational and time management skills; demonstrable experience operating at high standards of quality and accuracy within a fast-paced changing environment
