The Enterprise Operations & Technology (EO&T) Risk Governance Team provides risk management support to the EO&T division. We work closely with all three lines of defense, and business partners on a series of risk governance and reduction activities.

Our Impact:
- Establishing and maintaining robust AI governance frameworks to ensure our AI systems are ethical, transparent, and compliant with all applicable laws and regulations.
- Collaborate with senior leadership to integrate AI governance into the overall business strategy.
- Ensure compliance with global regulatory requirements and industry standard processes.
- Establish and coordinate processes for continuous monitoring and evaluation of AI systems for fairness, accountability, and transparency.
- Prepare and present regular reports to the executive team and board of directors on the state of AI governance and compliance.
- Promote a culture of responsible AI use within the organization.
Your Impact:
- Support the daily operations of the AI Clearinghouse (AICH), which registers all AI use cases and solutions at Freddie Mac.
- Help manage the completion of appropriate risk governance activities within various risk domains for AICH solutions.
- Produce weekly reports and manage communications with use case owners regarding AI use cases and solutions.
- Conduct reconciliations on a monthly basis to ensure the AICH data is accurate and comprehensive.
- Maintain processes, procedures, and controls designed to support the governance activities of AICH.
- Collaborate on projects related to enhancement of AICH Tool.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as Computer Science, Law, Ethics, or Business. Advanced degree, preferred.
- Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in AI governance or risk management or compliance audit in IT related fields like Cybersecurity / Information Security, Technical Architecture, Information management, or Resiliency management especially in cloud environments.
- Strong understanding of AI technologies and their ethical, legal, and societal implications.
- Familiarity with global AI regulatory landscapes and industry standards.
- Consistent record in developing and implementing governance frameworks in a complex, evolving environment.
- Knowledge of primary and/or secondary mortgage markets.

This position has an annualized market-based salary range of $142,000 - $212,000 and is eligible to participate in the annual incentive program. The final salary offered will generally fall within this range and is dependent on various factors including but not limited to the responsibilities of the position, experience, skill set, internal pay equity and other relevant qualifications of the applicant.Salary : $142,000 - $212,000
