Duties
- Assist with food preparation and ensure all kitchen areas are sanitized and organized.
- Operate cash registers and handle transactions accurately, including using Aloha POS systems.
- Provide friendly and attentive service to guests, addressing their needs promptly.
- Maintain cleanliness in all areas of the restaurant, including dining areas, kitchen, and restrooms.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders.
- Help with inventory management and restocking supplies as needed.
- Follow all health and safety regulations to ensure a safe dining environment.
Skills
- Strong culinary skills with a focus on food preparation techniques.
- Proficiency in operating cash registers and familiarity with Aloha POS systems is a plus.
- Basic math skills for handling transactions and managing cash flow effectively.
- Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining a positive attitude.
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with guests and team members.
- Experience in a grocery store or similar food service environment is advantageous but not required.
