Respected Bergen County general practice law firm has immediate opening for quick learning, smart and hardworking full-time (part-time flexible) legal secretary. Candidate must be detail-oriented, personable and able to work independently. Will handle files from beginning to end under supervision of attorney. Good administrative, organizational and time management skills a must. The position requires basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office applications, document management systems, proficiency in internet searches/research. Bilingual a plus. Experience with Harvest software also a plus. Law firm experience preferred.
Duties will include, but are in no way limited to processing documents, some clerical duties, answering phones, client service/contact and invoicing, negotiations with third parties, preparation and filing of pleadings with the Court, calendar and case management, and trial preparation.
