Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Food Runner to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist in the smooth operation of our restaurant by delivering food orders from the kitchen to customers' tables promptly and accurately.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver food orders from the kitchen to customers' tables in a timely manner
- Ensure accuracy of food items and presentation before serving
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate food delivery
- Assist in maintaining cleanliness and organization in the dining area
- Provide excellent guest services by addressing customer needs promptly
Qualifications:
- Prior experience in a restaurant or banquet setting is preferred
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with kitchen and service staff
- Ability to handle food safely and follow proper food handling procedures
- Familiarity with Aloha POS or similar restaurant point-of-sale systems is a plus
- Knowledge of culinary terms and practices is advantageous
- Customer service-oriented mindset with a passion for the food service industry
