What You’ll Do:
Key Responsibilities
As an Assessor I, you will:
- Conduct assessments and reassessments on residential and other real properties, ensuring accurate valuations.
- Collect and update property data in the field using advanced electronic devices and record-keeping systems.
- Utilize tools like Pictometry and MRIS to support data accuracy and assessment precision.
- Assist residents with inquiries related to real estate, mapping, and public tax programs such as land use and tax relief for seniors, veterans, or individuals with disabilities.
- Generate statistical data on completed work to inform community planning and improvements.
- Strong U.S. measurement systems and math skills to convert decimals to percentages accurately.
- Must be eligible to drive a County vehicle for field work.
- Proficient utilizing Microsoft Suites especially Excel.
- Strong interpersonal skills and business acumens.
