What You’ll Do: Key ResponsibilitiesAs an Assistant County Attorney, you will: Provide legal advice and guidance on County matters, including ordinances, contracts, and land use issues.Represent the County in legal proceedings, including code violations, tax collection, and litigation.Prepare and review legal documents, including proposed ordinances and various contracts.Attend meetings of County boards, commissions, and agencies to provide legal advice.Monitor and interpret federal and state legislation affecting the County.Collaborate with County staff, Board members, and elected officials on legal strategies and responses.
