What are the responsibilities and job description for the Maintenance Tech III (FCS) position at Frederick County Public Schools?
Qualifications :
- High school graduate / GED and / or completion of a vocational course or any combination of experience and training which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
- 5 years of experience in one or more specific trades (i.e. electrical / HVAC).
- A journeyman's license for trade designation from the Commonwealth of Virginia required. A master license for trade designation from the Commonwealth of Virginia preferred
- Excellent knowledge of standard practices and terminology within the trades of electrical / HVAC; skill in the use of appropriate tools; ability to follow verbal and written instructions; ability to work independently and give leadership to other employees; dependable and thorough with all responsibilities.
Facilities Maintenance Salary Scale Grade-C9 (credit is based on years of full-time experience in a related position)

Full time / 12 months / 245 days
